I produced a questionnaire in order to help me with gaining information on my Target Audience. From producing this questionnaire I found that more females than males listen to Indie music, I think this is due to the fact that most of the band members are young males. My target age gap is going to be teenagers, however I wanted to find out which ages of teenagers listened to Indie Music the most and my findings show that the most Indie music is most listened to by 17 and 18 year olds. I also asked people who their favourite bands were and why, from this the main reasons were that the band is great live, they have strong guitar solos and have a quirky style and fashion sense. The most popular type of music video was Performance where 11 people out of the 20 chose, this was followed by Abstract which was chosen by 6 people and Narrative being the least popular.

From this questionnaire, we have decided that we are going to produce a combination of Performance and possibly Abstract for out final music video. Our target audience for the band we choose is going to be for teenagers, in particular 17 and 18 year olds and focus of females as being the main target audience. This is due to the fact that majority of band members are young males in their twenties, who have a unique and fashionable style. Which attracts the females, this is one of the reasons why teenage girls listen to indie bands. I am going to investigate the clothing these bands wear to give us inspiration when choosing the Mise-en-scene for our band members.
